My owner recently found this CD that makes me feel calm and relaxed when she leaves. The people from this website actually studied some dogs like me and learned that this music is really calming for anxious dogs. It says on their site that “these solo piano classical arrangements reduced anxiety behavior and induced calmness in 70% of dogs in shelters or kennels and 85% of dogs in households”. How cool is that?! I’s is going to go take a nap and listen to my new CD. Be sure to check out the site and help reduce your dog’s anxiety!

I have heard of this technique before…I am looking forward to trying it with my dog! He likes to chew on the baseboard while I am away…not good for the teeth.
This is very interesting…who would have thought?! I’m going to try this with Chompers! I usually just leave the TV on for him, but sometimes an animal or something will set him off. I’m thinking the music will sooth and mellow him. Thanks for the tip!
